- 2 cups Water (pani)
- 3 tablespoons Sugar (cheeni; adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Rose water (gulab jal) - optional
- 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder (elaichi) - optional
- 1/2 cup Chopped fresh fruits (mango, pomegranate, kiwi) (seasonal, optional) - optional

- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (nimbu ras, optional) - optional

Rinse the agar agar strands well and soak them in water for 10 minutes for easier melting.
