Answers to common questions about how to log your food, how fasting works, what the different plans mean, and how to manage your account.

How can I log my food?

  • Log screen (menu item "Log"): Use the Log tab in the app to quickly add meals with search, presets, or manual entries.
  • Photo capture (scan): Open the scanner, point your camera at the plate, and let the system suggest foods and portions.
  • Voice memo \t auto parsing (premium rollout): Speak your meal (for example, "idly with ghee and chutney for breakfast") and the app will turn it into a structured log as we roll out voice support.

How does fasting support work? How do I start a fast?

  • Start a fast from the Fasting card or Start Fast button on the dashboard.
  • Choose from supported fast types (for example 16:8, OMAD, Navratri, Ekadashi, Karva Chauth and more as we add them) that are modelled in the database.

How do I set up notifications for fasting?

  • Use Fasting Settings in the app to control start / end fast reminders, water intake reminders and break-fast or half-way reminders.
  • For religious fasts, schedules are being aligned with Indian calendars so notifications respect local sunrise/sunset and vrat rules where possible.

What is Free vs Plat vs Pro?

Free

  • Core food logging and fasting timers.
  • Basic insights.
  • Data retention for at least 30 days of history.

Plat (Platform / Premium tier)

  • All Free features.
  • Expanded scan and photo logging.
  • Voice memo food log as it rolls out.
  • Access to religious fasting templates and vrats.
  • Richer reminders and notification flows.

Pro (future)

  • Planned advanced meal planning and custom alert rules.
  • Deeper coaching and scenario planning around Indian meals.
  • This tier is not live yet; details here are roadmap only.

How can I delete my account?

  • From within the app, open Profile / Settings and look for Delete account.
  • Deletion will remove your authentication account and associated logs from our primary database after a grace period, subject to any legal retention requirements.
  • If you cannot find the option or need export before deletion, contact support using the details in the main README or product docs.
